The vivid imagery from Jeni's life in New York and San Francisco provided a solid base for her aesthetic which she's carried back home to Cincinnati. She has a background in dance, has choreographed professionally, worked in large-scale sculpture and earned a degree in architecture. These varying skills all contribute to her richly creative life. Jeni's jewelry making started with exposure to enameling during a large scale sculpture project. After many years exploring enameling techniques, her interests have recently shifted more to constructed forms in copper, brass and aluminum. The more subtle palette of mixed metals and their inherent flexibility has opened up an excitng new way of working and a whole new world of expression.
